Robert Baker BBus, FCA, GAICD

Chairman

Robert joined Goodman as Chairman in 2014 following a successful career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, which included providing professional services to clients, leading PwC's Brisbane Office, and being appointed to PwC's Board of Partners.

Throughout his career, Robert continually developed his skills in understanding each client's needs and what "value" meant to them. His strong reputation with clients and business acumen led to him having several leadership roles with PwC culminating in him being voted by the PwC Australian partners to be one of their representatives on the Board of Partners.

Robert is also a Director of ASX 100 listed Flight Centre Travel Limited and provides pro bono services to the Sydney Catholic Development Fund and to the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane Congregation as a member of their Advisory Boards. He is also an active member of his local St Vincent de Paul branch.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Business – Accountancy and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Robert is married to Kathy and has five adult children. Outside of work, he loves to travel and spend time with his family, read business publications, and his ambition is to play golf more regularly.
